DMA
Welcome to the Drupal Mumble Admin homepage.
What is DMA?
DMA development started by ClusterFCK. DMA currently still is in development, but it will be available on Github soon enough for testing and patches.
Drupal Mumble Admin started as a tool to link your Drupal users to the Mumble user database, but it can do much more already.
A small list of features:
- Link Drupal users to Mumble users (to 1 or multiple virtual servers running on the same or a group of ICE servers)
- Send out RSS feeds as news/headlines from the site to Mumble
- Manage / configure one or multiple Mumble servers from Drupal
- Sync multiple Mumble servers / users from one or more Drupal sites (some minor TODOs still open)
- Send private messages from the site to Mumble users when they are logged in (hook private message module)
- Send a message to 1 or multiple virtual servers
- Auto away function
- Mumble channel viewer block (CVP support is on the todo list)
Todo:
- Webbased Mumble chat. (YAY! this might be possible in 1.2.4) (can we hook this up to qtc or do a rewrite?)
- Some kind of recording tool.
- Rewrite the Mumble viewer block and add support for CVP (channel viewer protocol) in some way
- Maybe even a webbased Mumble client-plugin-something, other projects are being developed already, so somewhere in the future...
- More sync functionality and tools, to import Drupal/Mumble users and sync everything from one or multiple server to another server or group of servers. (needs research, for example: what to do with duplicate usernames, etc, etc)
- More news/content type 'news/headlines' functionality. (select node types to push to Mumble instead of pushing RSS feeds only)
- Edit Mumble user permissions / groups and permissions from the site.
- Maybe link Mumble groups / permissions to the Drupal permissions system. ( this is still a BIG ? )
- Maintain backwards compatibility up to 1.1.0 as much as possible.
- Test everything.
DMA is Free software, and is released under the GPL license.
As soon as we have a working version we will publish all code, give us time and help us on Github. (link to be added)
